International Muay Thai Asian Martial Arts Tournament 2026 Successfully Held in Sri Lanka
The International Thai Martial Arts (Muaythai) Asian Martial Arts 2026 was successfully held at Goldi Sands Hotel, Negombo, Sri Lanka, bringing together nearly 90 athletes from 12 countries to compete in various Muay Thai disciplines.
The tournament featured competitions in:
Muaythai Professional
Muaythai Semi-Professional
Muaythai Boran
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Sunil Kumar Gamage, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of Sri Lanka, and Mr. Chinawut Sirisompan, President of the International Muay Thai Association.
This international event served as an important platform for promoting Muay Thai on the global stage while also supporting tourism and providing valuable international competitive experience for Sri Lankan athletes.
